Minotaur Tactical and the full length Shotgun Tactical Rail all started with an obscure photo of a tactical shotgun found on line in 2005. The photo illustrating a full length picatinny rail attached to a Mesa Tactical Butt Stock and the 14" barrel of a Remington 870 shotgun. After a great amount of online searching we found the rail was a prototype from an out of business Canadian company. Apparently they never produced the rail and speaking with Mesa Tactical they had no interest either. 

Since a full length rail for our Tactical Shotguns could not be found we decided to design our own full length Tactical Shotgun rail. We did not want the rail to be attached to a buttstock so the shotgun operator would not be restricted to a particular stock. Not only did we own Remington 870's shotguns used for duty, we had Home Defense Mossberg Shotguns as well. Rather than designing several rails our team solved the problem by designing the new rail to fit both Mossberg 500/590 series Shotguns and the Remington 870's with factory drilled and tapped receivers.

Although the "Tactical Rail" is the first product of Minotaur Tactical we already have other professional grade Tactical Shotgun products which will follow in early 2010.

Minotaur Tactical is a female owned company who's staff has years of Firearms, Tactic and Law Enforcement Experience. The staff personally tests and evaluate any product we consider for manufacture or recommendation.
